Jesse’s passion for technology began as a young boy in rural Minnesota, where his curiosity and resourcefulness turned everyday challenges into opportunities to create and innovate.

With a background as a jack-of-all-trades, Jesse honed his development skills at Gravit Digital, right here in Bellingham, under the mentorship of Matt Bergsma. From there, he became the lead developer for DTLR in Philadelphia, driving their eCommerce business. Afterward, when he was sought out from a rival company, Snipes USA hired Jesse, and he continued his leadership, overseeing development for their expanding operations. 

Transitioning to freelance work, Jesse has since partnered with businesses of all sizes to craft cutting-edge web and database solutions, cementing his reputation as a project manager, coder, and digital powerhouse.

As Development Lead & Technology Consultant at Joyco, Jesse drives innovative solutions for clients, blending his expertise in front and back-end development with a consultative approach to solving complex challenges. His ability to lead projects and deliver exceptional results makes him an invaluable asset to the Joyco team.

Outside of work, Jesse enjoys training in Muay Thai, and Ultimate Frisbee, collecting cards and NFTs, exploring the world with his girlfriend and their pets, playing video games, and seeking out the best food experiences wherever he goes.
